Culinary degree from Johnson & Wales University. Eight years running the kitchen at Curate, one of Asheville’s most acclaimed restaurants.

Marcus brought his technique to the taproom and built a menu that stands on its own: smoked, wood-fired, and designed around what’s on tap.

Our Story — Asheville’s Industrial Craft Brewery

In2018,JakeandEmmaTorreswalkedintoanabandonedironworksfactoryonRiversideDrive.Thesteelbeamswerestillstanding.Thebrickwallshadheldforacentury.Theysawabrewery.BothgraduatesoftheSiebelInstitute,JakehadspentfifteenyearsbrewingincludingtimeatWickedWeed,oneofAsheville'smoststoriedbreweries.Emmahandledoperationsandvision.Togethertheykepttheoriginalsteel,theoriginalbrick,andbuiltataproomthathonorswhatcamebefore.Eightyears,fiveawards,andsixteentapslater,thefactoryisstillthebrand.Bluecollarbrewerswhohappentomakeexceptionalbeer.

The Beer Garden

Sixty seats under string lights with fire pits and mountain views. Open year-round, because Asheville doesn't stop for weather.

Live Music

Friday and Saturday nights. Local bluegrass, folk, and Americana acts. The kind of music that sounds right with a pint in your hand and a fire nearby.

Sunday Brunch

11 AM to 3 PM every Sunday. Beer pairings with every dish. Start slow, leave happy.

The Factory Floor

120 seats inside the original ironworks building. Exposed steel beams overhead, worn brick walls, Edison bulbs. The space where it all started.
